The official Steam demo is free. The official site and support page call it the only current official demo, and progress made in the Steam demo carries over to the full game on Steam. Any other "free" or "cracked" copy is not official, and the developer warns such downloads are likely scam or malware attempts.

Cross-save with Rumpus

Cross-save works through Rumpus, Butterscotch Shenanigans' account system. Sign into the same Rumpus account on each device and your progress syncs across supported Windows, iOS, and Android versions. There is no separate "save transfer file" to move manually for normal play.
