A roguelike dudebuilder autobattler by Butterscotch Shenanigans. You recruit a growing army of Dudes, combine them with Relics and Trinkets for game-breaking synergies, and push through escalating waves and bosses across three challenge tiers.
No. It is a single-player game with no online or local multiplayer modes. The "How Many" refers to the army of Dudes you command, not other human players.
At launch there are 42 Unique Dudes across 6 Dude Families — Undead, Employed, Warrior, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Action — with more than 850,000 possible team compositions. The Dudex also tracks Regular Dude, Echo Dude, and Skeledude beyond that unique count.
Windows and Steam Deck via Steam, iPhone and iPad via the App Store, and Android phones and tablets via Google Play. Console versions are not currently planned, and there are no official Mac, Linux, Chromebook, or full-browser builds.
The stated standard launch price was $14.99 USD on Steam and $9.99 USD on mobile. Regional pricing, tax, and temporary discounts vary. The official Steam demo is free.
Yes. Full cross-platform ("cross-saves") save syncing works across your devices through Rumpus, so you can switch from PC to phone and continue where you left off.
Yes. The full game is on iPhone and iPad via the App Store and on Android phones and tablets via Google Play. Saves sync with the Steam/Windows build via Rumpus.
No public, evidence-led ranking supports one universal team. The repeatable answer is a four-part shell: one damage engine, one source of control or damage transfer, one sustain engine, and two flex slots that deepen the same triggers or solve the run's current weakness.
On the in-house [Dudes tier list guide](/en/guides/dudes-tier-list): instead of an S–F power ranking we publish a needs-tier (control, sustain, damage, amplification) checked against the live official Dudex.
